July 13, 2008, about noon...

This map will expand when you click on it...  I think that I've got this figured out and I'll use it for future Google Earth-sourced MODIS Fire Maps.

Can you confirm the date and time of the map, please?

It says 7/11/2008 on it, but I think you've updated it.

Thanks.

Tony,

The red fire perimeter lines are 7-11-08 at about 11PM; but, the "flames" icons are updated every hour, so this is from about noon today.

Jim Kasson will be submitting other Satellite images later today and he'll update us as soon as he gets them.

Best,

Kelly
