July 6, 2008, about 10 am....
Just walked down the driveway to pick up the NY Times, and noticed that we've been graced with some new signage. The sign on the tree to the right says "4 Structures" - good info for the Los Angeles crews working the residential clearing and preparation areas.
This sign is a mystery... it just showed up between the road and the creek!
As I write this, I hear an helicopter heading for the Helibase nearby, and a fixed-wing aircraft heading back to the fire line.
This is far from over....
