During the briefing at the Red Cross Evacuation Center, Carmel Middle School, a description of where the fire broke out from behind the defense lines was put forth.
This map shows the breakout points, hand-drawn this afternoon, which caused authorities to call for the evacuation of Big Sur to commence.
